- "Participant" or "you" — any individual who registers for, attends or enquires about a Baraqah session.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, submitting an enquiry or registering for a session, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate. By registering, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Nature of Our Services
All Baraqah sessions and programmes are offered as general education and reflective learning. They are not, and should not be construed as, regulated financial advice, financial planning, investment guidance, counselling or any other regulated professional service. Nothing shared during a Baraqah session constitutes a personalised recommendation regarding any financial product, investment or decision.
If you require regulated financial advice, you should consult a licensed financial planner or adviser.
4. Session Registration
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Session schedules are subject to change and you will be notified of any material changes with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to cancel a session if minimum participant numbers are not met, in which case a full refund will be provided.
5. Payment Terms
- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is required in full prior to attendance.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the point of registration.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made more than 7 calendar days before a session: full refund.
- Cancellations made 3–7 calendar days before: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 3 calendar days before: no refund, but a credit toward a future session may be offered at our discretion.
- If Baraqah cancels a session, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
7. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants. Baraqah reserves the right to remove any participant who is disruptive, abusive or otherwise compromises the experience of others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
Participants must not record, photograph or distribute session content without prior written consent from Baraqah.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during sessions — including worksheets, workbooks, digital tools, frameworks and written content — remain the intellectual property of Baraqah. Participants are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for their own private reflective purposes. Redistribution, reproduction or commercial use is not permitted without written consent.
9. Disclaimers
Baraqah sessions are provided for educational purposes only. We make no representation that participation will result in any specific financial outcome. Every individual's financial situation is different, and general education cannot substitute for personalised professional advice. Content is provided in good faith but may not reflect the most current developments in financial practice or regulation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law, Baraqah's total liability to any participant for any claim arising from a session shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the relevant session. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special losses, including but not limited to financial loss arising from decisions made following attendance at a session.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Baraqah harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of session materials.
12. Termination
Baraqah may terminate access to future sessions or digital resources if you breach these terms. Sections 8, 9, 10 and 11 survive termination of this agreement.
13. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith communication with Baraqah. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Baraqah in relation to session participation, superseding all prior understandings.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued participation in sessions following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
